I suppose that it's possible, but I'd probably worry (much) more
about your (unspecified) "my computer", and the ways that you use it,
than about any of your networking equipment.

"AC1750" is a speed, not a model number. Look for "Model" on the
product label. Firmware version? Connected to what?

"compromised" how, exactly? Have you any evidence that your
(unspecified) router was to blame in some way for whatever (undisclosed)
problem which you believe that you're experiencing?

I've got the R6400, sorry I thought AC stood for the for model, not a expert here. But, this thing hasn't updated or has any updates that I've found for months. By me saying I've been Comprimised, I mean my bank accounts has been dipped into. I use my computer for buying things online. What I want to know if this router can be the cause and someone can hack into my accounts because this routers not safe?

I suppose that it's possible, but I'd probably worry (much) more
about your (unspecified) "my computer", and the ways that you use it,

The big reason I’m thinking this unit needs replaced is because I’ve talked to friends who’ve said I needed to change out. I’ve tried to update and I get the message that there’s no update for firmware.

Your friends didn't tell me why. Did they tell you?

"tried"? How, exactly?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Downloads. (For older versions, under Firmware and Software
Downloads, look for "View Previous Versions".) Find the kit(s).
Download the kit(s) you want. Read the "Release Notes" file for
instructions. (In the User Manual, look for "firmware", and,
especially, for a topic like "Manually Upload Firmware to the Router".)
When that fails because of a deficient User Manual, try:

But I still doubt that your router or its firmware is the cause of
your problems.
