So you're planning on going:
EX6200<--------router------>ex7000
Is that correct?
If so, it potentially can work. I'm impressed the EX6200 is connecting in a detached garage. exterior walls and that much distance makes it a bit impressive that it connects at all.
I usually advise people who are trying to do something like that to move to an actual mesh system like a triband Orbi.

Your are correct on my planned connection. I spoke with a Netgear support person today, he said it should work. I am also considering a 3 satellite Orbi AX4200 system. Not sure I need that much horsepower, as my main users are connected via ethernet. Also, its $115 vs. $600 for the two solutions! Thanks for your comment.
