I had an existing R8000 and just installed a ORBI system in my house. I want to use the R8000 in my barn as a range extender connected to one of the ORBI units in a line-of-sight window in my house. How can I do this?

You would have to run a ethernet cord to the R8000 and then set it to AP mode you cant connect it via wireless.
