Re: Connecting to att u verse router

I don't understand the problem.

What does this mean?

What wifi plug? What Ethernet go signal?

Is the R6900v2 in your footer the Netgear hardware you are using?

What is the model of the att u verse router?

Re: Connecting to att u verse router

Ok I connected my nighthawk to the uverse router with the ethernet cable. All of my lights are lite up but wifi is flashing, and I cant connect to internet with the nighthawk. Uverse router is a NVG510

Re: Connecting to att u verse router

The NVG510 looks like it is a modem/router. So your best bet is probably to find the manual and work out how to put it into modem only (bridge) mode. Otherwise you will have two routers on your network, which is likely to cause problems.

I'm a novice at this, but that's what I'll try next.

Or, configure the R6900v2 as a wireless access point.  Visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for
Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Look for "Use the Router as a WiFi
Access Point Only".
