Connection with printer lost (R7000, 1.0.9.26)

Since 1.0.9.26 the connection between my Brother DCP-J5552DW and the network seems to have failed. Reconnecting doesn't work, except that pending print jobs will get through during the setup, but not after the setup has been completed.

Is the printer using a wireless or wired ethernet connection?

Its recommended to set a Static IP address ON the printer, 192.168.1.55 or .52 thats out side of the routers default IP address pool. 192.168.1.100 to .200. You can set this pool on the router up as well.

Try setting WPA2 and AES on the router if the printers using wireless.

Try setting manual channel 11 as well.

Ensure 20/40Mhz coexistence is enabled.

The printer has a static IP address.

I have downgraded the firmware back to 1.0.9.18 and now the connection has been restored.
