Consistent drops and latency with PS4 remote play

I’m trying to play my PS4 remotely via my iPhone over a 5GHz connection. Same LAN. I get consistent hiccups and disconnects to the point that it’s unplayable, even when I’m in the same room 5ft away from it.

My PS4 is hardwired to the router. I notice when I run ping tests directly to the router, I get fairly consistent latency and packet loss. I don’t really know what else I can do to optimize the connection.

Would really appreciate anyone’s advice to make this work.
