Customer Support and Extended warranty AC1750
I purchased the Nighthawk R6700 and the extended warranty (3/2020). About 6 months later, the router is bricked and could not be repaired. I repeated tried to contact customer support by phone and email to request a partial refund for the extend warranty. Once I was able to speak an agent, they submitted a request for a department to review. Two weeks later, I recieved an email that the refund was denied. Again, I tried to contact support several time to request partial credit to apply to the 10+ other netgear products without any success.
Netgear's customer support has increasingly gotten worse over the past 12-24 months. If you feel you need an extend warranty buy an alternative - 3rd party vendor. For this reason, I am considering switching brands in the future.

What happened? What does "bricked" mean in this context? (That's a widely abused label that can mean various things.)
Many things can be fixed. But we need to know what the problem is.
