DGN2200v4 How to restrict Lan connections
Hello
I have bought a family zone device and connected it to my DGN2200v4 modem. This works fine for wireless as the password prevents anyone connecting to the modem. But my son gets around this by connecting the xbox to the lan connection which doesnt require a password. Is there any way to set the lan connections to only allow the FZ device? Do I need to upgrade to another modem?

Re: DGN2200v4 How to restrict Lan connections
Have you looked into the use of Parental Controls on the DGN2200v4?
There is a manual for the DGN2200v4 somewhere at the end of this link:
>>> DGN2200v4 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<
I can't see that this device allows the level of access control that would let you block a wired device by its Mac address.
Just another user.
