Devices cannot connect to the Internet after upgrading firmware to R7000-V1.0.9.18_1.2.27

. Hi everybody!

I have a R7000 - Nighthawk AC1900 Dual Band Wifi Router. Recently I have upgraded the firmware from R7000-V1.0.9.14_1.2.25 to R7000-V1.0.9.18_1.2.27. Some of my devices (Smartphones: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Note 1) cannot connect to the internet after upgrading (though they are all connected successfully to wifi). I tried all wifi channel and there was no use. After all, I downgraded the firmware to R7000-V1.0.9.14_1.2.25 then everything were fine again.

Have you ever had this problem and how to fix it?

 Thank you very much!

 Regards.

Just read the forums, which are full of posts about various routers (I have an R8000) that do not function properly after the latest "security update" firmware. Stay with the older firmware until Netgear gets their act together and releases new firmware that actually works.
