Re: Does Nighthawk r7000 has implicit beamforming?
you need a AC client for beamforming it's part of the AC standard. As for other question I believe that feature is more of a Client option meaning if the client has it netgear AC routers support it. Been awhile since I read up on it but I thought it was a
"Netgear" feature meaning you'll need a netgear client.

Re: Does Nighthawk r7000 has implicit beamforming?
One example of beamforming WiFi card is Intel AC7260. It gives slight improvement in throughput, don't expect miracle.
