EX6250 Mesh Extender doesn't connect anymore

Most recent Android app update made me unable to use my mesh extender EX6250. I've since factory reset the extender, and tried to reconnect, but the app keeps crashing when "personalizing settings" during setup. Have also reinstalled Android app, but to no avail. So now the Mesh Extender doesn't work. WPS can only connect 2.4ghz but not 5ghz.

What android app are you talking about causing the issues?

Are other devices having issues or just the one device?

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the WiFi Extender products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with WiFi Extender products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Netgear's apps are famously flaky.

Have you tried setting it up with a browser? Wired is preferable, but if you can connect to the wifi that may also work.

One configured you may find that the app works.
