Enabling Netgear Armor for R8000 router

I recently purchased Netgear Armor for my R8000 router. However, I did not receive any follow up from Netgear on how to install the product or if it was automatically installed. I have no idea if it's working. My warranty and service contract have expired so I can't get through to a Netgear rep without paying for a new service contract which I will do if that is my only option. Any suggestions?
