Ethernet does not have a valid IP confguration
(Posting this because a person told me to repost in this category)
Okay so, I was trying to plug in my Netgear (using ethernet only, I have ATT fiber if that helps) But I keep getting Unidentified Network error, and when I diagnose, it says Ethernet does not have a valid IP Configuration. Help will be appreciated.

Plug your "Netgear" ( R7000P?) into what?
What does "ethernet only" mean to you?
ATT fiber could be many things. ISPs use the label indiscriminately and there is fiber in just about every flavour of Internet.
What does this "Ethernet" come from? Some sort of box on the wall?

Where do you see this Unidentified Network error?
What are you doing to doagnose it?
What shows you the message Ethernet does not have a valid IP Configuration?
Visit the support pages:

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
