Ethernet issues

Recently the router has been having issues with the ethernet ports. I would plug in the cable in each slot and they would all do the same, they would stay blank for a few seconds, blink amber once, then turn off again. I have bought a new cable hoping that would fix it, but it's still doing this. Could it just be that the router is getting old and busted or are there any other things I could to to try and fix this problem?

Re: Ethernet issues

Or what you are plugging into the router. You have not given all the info needed. What are you plugging into the router. Would be very unusual for all the ports to fail at the same time.

Did you just install a new firmware?
