Extend the wifi signal by which mode prefer?
I have 2 R7000 — Nighthawk AC1900 Smart WiFi Dual Band Gigabit Router. My main router already setup and connect to internet sucessfully. I would like to extend the wifi signal to my living room without using a Ethernet Cable. Can R7000 router extend the wifi signal without an Ethernet Cable in AP mode? Or I need to use bridge mode or repeater mode?
Please help, thank you very much.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for "Set Up the
Router as a WiFi Access Point".
To set up the router as an AP:
1. Use an Ethernet cable to connect the Internet port of this
router to an Ethernet port in the other router.

Re: Extend the wifi signal by which mode prefer?
If you cannot run an Ethernet cable for some reason to support an AP you can use a Ethernet over powerline adapter. These work by sending the Ethernet connection to the remote end over the powerline in your home. Worked quite well for me.
