Extender won’t work with R8000P router.

After configuring the extender, it communicates with the R8000P and functions for a few minutes and then loses 2 way communication. I don't lose my extender signal, the extender loses coms with the router. Any ideas.

And on the router? 

How big is the home? 

How far from the router is the extender?

What materials is the interior of your home made from? 

When you've got it setup, do you have a screen snip of the extenders status page? it'll show us backhaul connection status to the router.
