Factory Reset of Nighthawk Mesh WiFi Extender

I no longer need my wifi extender due to a wifi upgrade, but I can't get it back to "factory settings" so a friend can set it up on his account. Is there a way to de-register it?

For product registration inquiries, you will need to contact our Customer Care at customer.service@netgear.com and provide them with your email address and serial number to have the device removed from your account.
