File Permissions
Hi All,
I bought this router a few months ago as I wanted to share a single database file on a usb storage device attached to the router. However due to the file permissions that ReadyShare gives to the folder, it is not possible.
In the latest release of firmware one bug was listed which was:
Fixes the issue in which ReadySHARE access does not allow different settings for read access and write access.
I thought this might solve the problem but it doesn't. You cannot change the shared folder to have full control.
Can anyone offer any assistance or could NETGEAR please fix this simple problem!
Thanks
Kevin

Re: File Permissions
I had that problem.
I copied my data to a portable drive.
Deleted the file folder and created a new file folder on my readyshare drive that I created to share everything....it worked.
Seems once you locked a folder...you have to delete it and create a new one.
