Long story short, I had a failed Factory Reset. router lights up but there is no internet connection so cannot log into the router.
Want to try this solution: https://kb.netgear.com/000059633/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-client
but the link to the firmware is broken. I went to the TFTP website ( https://www.tftp-server.com/tftp-client.html) and now unsure which file if any is useable. Seeking expert help from the community.

thank you. This seems workable. I didn't know it was built into Windows 10. Thanks

Re: Firmware download has broken link. Cannot get download
If you're using windows, it has a built in client that you enable.

Re: Firmware download has broken link. Cannot get download
Firmware can be found at
https://www.netgear.com/support/
Put in your router model and you well be taken to a location where the firmware is as well another very important document, the user manual.

Re: Firmware download has broken link. Cannot get download
If you are using either windows or mac you have a built in tftp client. No download needed.
Here is an idea of how.
