Firmware update on Netgear Nighthawk R7450 No internet
On 8/28 I downloaded and installed the latest firmware update to my Nighthawk Wireless router. After the install and when the router reset, the router seems effectively dead. Power light is solid orange, only was able to make a change with the "30-30-30" method to get flashing white but went back to solid orange. Contacted ISP to verify internet was ok, but cant get any further. Am I really out a router due to a single update? Any help is appreciated
Sounds like you might have a corrupt firmware issue. You can try recovering it via tftp.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide

just make sure you enable tftp

and here's a video walk through.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash
