Genie incorrectly shows "Internet Not Connected"

Genie incorrectly shows "Internet Not Connected"
The Basic window for Netgear Genie indicates that it is "Internet Not Connected". However, my internet connection seems to be working pretty well (occasional short stoppages are the only issue that I have). My tested internet speed is what I pay for (100 mbs).
My internet provider is Comcast Xfinity. I've rebooted both my modem (Arris TG862) and router. I ran "Test" in the Genie Internet page and applied resulting settings. I've updated the R6400 firmware to V1.0.1.74_1.0.48. None of these attempts has changed the shown status.
How can I fix this?
