Google Nest Mini won't connect to R7000P
Hi
I am trying to connect a Google Nest Mini to my Wifi router and it connects for a second then disconnects. It's getting very frustrating. I've tried setting up a guest network in my Nighthawk app but that doesn't work either..

1. what modem/gateway do you have?
2. what firmware is ont he r7000P
3. Are you connecting the google mini to the 2.4ghz or the 5ghz?
4. have you tried changing what channel the router is using?
5. is it able to complete setup and then just disconnects?
6. does it work if you setup the google home using your phones hotspot?

1: I have the Netgear Nighthawk
2: When I look at the up and do check updates it tells me it's up to date
3: I was just connecting it to the main WIFI, should I be trying the guest WIFI? Which is better 2.4 or 5?
4: no idea how to do that!
5: It connects, then says something went wrong, and it says to make sure I have enable local network access in my phone which I have..
6: Haven't tried with hotspot, will give that a go later..

2: When I look at the up and do check updates it tells me it's up to date---which is isn't always up to date. Thats why we ask. What version are you on?
3: I was just connecting it to the main WIFI, should I be trying the guest WIFI? Which is better 2.4 or 5?---5ghz is faster. Have it on the main wifi.
4: no idea how to do that! The manual is beneficial. I'll link to it at the bottom.
