My printer is connected to the R7800 via ethernet cable and the port(3) light is Red. I've tried changing cables and ports with the same result. When accessing the port 192.168.1.14 thru the HP Status page ob my cimputer it shows Connected and no problems. My computer is also Wired into the router withoiut any problems.
I've resinstalled the printer software and my problem remains
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Just a quick note, if it's amber it means that the device plugged in is not maximizing the speed that the router can offer which is up to 1Gbps.
Perhaps, the printer is only capable of up to 100Mbps. You may check this from the LAN specification of the printer.
