Has there been a fix to the cve-2017-14491 dnsmasq issue?

Hello,

In regards to the R7000 Nighthawk, when I looked up the dnsmasq, it shows up as 2.15, which is less than the recommended 2.78. I updated the firmware and it still shows as 2.15 in the command line. I would like to know if there have been any updates regarding this. It seems this issue has been lost in the wind after the first few months, late last year.

Hi HumanSmoke,

Thank you bringing this up. Please check the link below to report vulnerabilities.

I also suggest to update the firmware to 1.0.9.30. Here's the release notes:

This is a terrible answer @Blanca_O .  Not only should your customers not have to fill out a form to report a bug that's been repeatedly reported, but the newest firmware ALSO doesnt fix the problem.  When are you guys going to fix this ?
