Help With Firmware Update
Hi. Apologies if this issue has already been brought up and solved.
My Nighthawk app says my modem/router needs a firmware upgrade, so I logged into routerlogin.net but could not figure out where to initiate the firmware update. I did scan the forums here and lots of people were saying that I have to call my ISP since it is a docsis 3.1 related update? I called Comcast and they told me since my modem/router is used owned, that I should call Netgear, whose customer service phone number I cannot find. Any help here?

The app is notorious for saying that with modem/router combo devices.
Sadly, the isp does have to do the update (per the docsis spec) but they rarely do because it costs them money to certify it. its one of the reasons we push modem's seperate from the router.
you can check the version your on to the most current for your isp
