Help with brand new x6 ac3200

Hello,

I just bought a Nighthawk x6 ac 3200 tonight and am having issues.

My phone cannot find the router with the app, even when signed onto the network.

Second, the Genie will not sign in on my pc to change router settings, it just hangs with a loading wheel.

Third, my speeds are 80 whereas I usually get 250.

which app are you using on the phone? Highthawk or Genie? I suggest using the latter

 

Also, the router is best configured using its WebGUI at http://192.168.1.1

 

Further, if you have QoS enabled, disable it

Using Nighthawk.  Used the 192...to configure. Dont have QoS enabled.  I just did a reset and speeds MAYBE went up? Checking hardwired tho

also, trying to log in on my phone with Genie just hangs on loading
