How do I set Fixed IP Addresses in an iMac?

I am having trouble with smartplugs in Homekit staying connected, and the manufacturer, (Meross), suggested setting fixed IP Addresses for the plugs. The iOS App shows them, but I do not se a way to set a fixed address.

fixed IP is added on the device in question. What you need is reserved DHCP IP addresses. Got to http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 and in the Advanced page you can set up reserved IPs for your devices.

Where on the advanced page? I did not find anywhere to do this and have never been to this page before.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read.  Look for
"Address Reservation".

Login into the router's Web UI (links in my first post). Go to Advanced -> Setup -> LAN Setup. In there you can reserve IPs based on MAC address
