How should I connect my printer for full access?
Using the Netgear Nighthawk R7000, I have my Dell H825cdw plugged in to the router. Should this give me access to the printer regardless of which wireless account I use for my various devices (5g, 2.xg, or guest)?
I typically only print from my personal laptop, which is on the 5g network. No issues.
My work computer uses the guest network (federal job, rules require we use guest if available), and is defaulted to print to pdf, but occasionally I need it on paper. However, when I select my Dell printer from that laptop, it says the printer is offline...but it's not. I can turn around and print from my personal laptop with no issues. Don't want to email federal work products to my personal laptop (remember Hillary??) so, any advice? 🙂
Thanks!

Re: How should I connect my printer for full access?
I believe guest network will not have access to the printer since the GN is isolated from the main network by design and for security reasons.
