How to know the IP addresses in use on each port in a GC110P switch ?
Hello Team,
I have a network device with an IP address (set apart) very different than the IP range assigned by the switch.
I have connected this device to a specific port, but I just can see the MAC addresses in a ARP section, not the IP address.
I have tried using: arp -a from a Windows DOS command line, but I just get Ip, and MAC address information other than this specific device I'm looking for.
Your help is welcome.
Michael

Welcome to our community! 🙂
You can only see the MAC address of the devices connected to the switch but not the IP address. It is working as designed as this switch is just an L2 switch and not an L3 switch.

You may need to use a 3rd party IP Scanner for you to check the IP address of the devices and just match it with the MAC address shown in the attached devices.
