I have the netgear 1900 and the cm500

My set up keeps dropping the internet 3 or 4 times a day sometimes more can anyone tell me how to fix the problem

Test a wired PC to the ISP modem and see if anything happens with by passing the router.


Are you wireless or wired when connected to the router when this happens? 

What FW version is currently loaded on the router?

Any wireless neighbors near by? If so, how many and what channels are they using? 

Swap LAN cables between ISP modem and router. Shortest CAT6 length recommended.
