Re: I'm having trouble connecting my Nighthawk mod. 6700v3 to my AT&T modem.

Are you using the right steps?

First power off both the modem and router.

Now power up just the modem and let it stablize, 5 -7 minutes. Watch the lights.

Now power up the router. When connected to modem it should now get you connected to Internet.

If not then provide what the simptoms are and the firmware version number is, not something like latest, but actual number.

I have done that 3 times in last 24 hrs. Have Windows 10 (edge) with ATT  2 WIRE cable modem. Modem working fine, but cannot connect router.

None of that is a useful problem description.  Neither says what you
did.  Neither says what happened when you did it.  As usual, showing
actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error messages, LED
indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague descriptions or
interpretations.

As a start, visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model
number, and look for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Look for the
LED descriptions and "Troubleshoot".

Has it a model number?  Is it a simple modem, or a modem+router?  If
it's a modem+router, then some special steps would be required, or at
least advisable.
