I need to temporary shut down the 5G part of my nighthawk 1750.

I need to just have the 2.4 side working for a few hours. Any way to shut off the 5G

Is that accurate? Not a R6700v2 or R6700v3?  Look at the product
label.  Firmware version?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Read.  Look for
topics like "Control the Wireless Radios" and/or "Enable or Disable the
Wireless Radios".

Any reason for this?

If it is to set up an IoT thing that demands use of a mobile device on 2.4 GHz, then disabling the SSID broadcast may do what you want.

I mention this because it is a regular request on Orbi devices.
