In Nighthawk X6 R8000 router setting up Netgear Armor resulting slow speed of WIFI.

Hi,

any  once faced the issue of wifi slow down with updating netgear R8000 router to V1.0.4.46_10.1.63 and setting up netgear armor.

After setting up netgear armor completly slows down my wifi speed.

Any ideas to reslove this?.

I believe that Armor turns off cut through forwarding, ctf. CTF speeds up packets through the switch and does not use much processer power. However, Armor is inspecting packets when on and that turns off CTF and means the cpu is huffing and puffing to keep up. What you are getting maybe as good as it gets. 

Might open a ticket with support to report your displeasure.
