Incorrect password only for 2.4ghz

Hi!
I received an incorrect password pop up on my phone about a month ago only for the 2.4 network. After changing passwords, then back to the original (so i didn’t have to change it on devices connected), did it work. It’s been working for the past few weeks and again is now not connecting due to “incorrect password”. It is indeed the correct, factory set password.
I believe this time it’s only for new devices, not ones currently connected to the network. We just got a Roku I’m trying to connect to the 2.4 because it’s far from our router

The first thing to do is to ignore the router and to get the phone to forget the connection to that wifi source. Then start the connection from scratch.

Thanks, but it’s not the phone. It’s a newly set up Roku. It happens on anything.
But I did try that last time with the phone and it didn’t work.
