Installed a AC1750/R6700v3 not recognizing LAN devices?
Hi, I upgraded my router from a D-Link and I was able to connect all my wireless devises however, there are 2 devises conneted via LAN lines, a network extender and a printer.
* Both LAN lights are orange, should be white?
* When I try to wirelessly connect the printer it says it is offline. It worked on the D-Link and it will work if I connect with a USB Cable. It is an older, but very good and reliable Canon ImageClass MF 6590.
It appears the Samsung Network Extender is working.
I would really like to get my printer online and appreciate any help on resoving this issue.
Regards,

Re: Installed a AC1750/R6700v3 not recognizing LAN devices?
per the manual
The LED color indicates the speed: white for Gigabit Ethernet connections and amber for
100 Mbps or 10 Mbps Ethernet connections
so your lan connections are either 100 or 10 mbps connections.
Did you contact canon for assistance connecting their printer?

Re: Installed a AC1750/R6700v3 not recognizing LAN devices?
Thank you for the info and the printer is old enough where the only support Canon offers for it is through their users forum. That said, I removed the printer and reinstalled, again, and this time the system was able to find the printer using older model search and I got it to work this time. I swear I did that procedure 3-4 times but, this time it worked and I will not complain about that!.
Thanks again for your assistance.
