Greetings to one and all, Been happening for months now, I can time it to the second as to when my IPTV locks up lol I've checked logs and seen that I had an intruder through the Upnp (so disabled...

IP address renewal happens all the time on networks. A renewal of IP address of the WAN interface on the router should not cause a pause in the IPTV. I would look at the router and specifically the router firmware. It might be worth the effort to go to an older version of the firmware. Do you know of a version that seemed to work for you? If so I would reinstall that. You could try a hard reset, but not really sure what that would accomplish in this case, but who knows?

May 23, 2019okay, last night, i had a convo with roommate, he told me his wifi was sporadic for a few months now and his phone wouldnt connect to the wifi.
I checked my phone... funny, mine wouldnt connect either and the password was not accepted (even though i knew it and using correct one).
I took Bill's idea and flashed back to previous firmware and immediately my phone, roommates phone connected to the 5g wifi. I waited up last night with my IPTV on to see if it would glitch at the 50% renewal request... IT DIDNT GLITCH.
So, in conclusion, Thank you Bill, your suggestion fixed my problem that I was having. Other than a few ddos attacks since my turning off upnp, my internet/router issue is resolved.
Thank you again Bill. Its people like you who give a possible action/solution that get things sorted out. Alternative is just lecturing and preaching, which does nothing but have products thrown in the trash and people buy other companies products to solve the problem.
AGAIN, Thank you Bill. Keep up the good work.

You might want to try the latest f/w again. It is possible you had a bad install. That f/w is solid.
