I'd assume not, given that a cable-TV modem+router like a Cxxxx
doesn't sound to me much like "Frontier FiberOptic Internet, also known
as FiOS by Frontier".
But, in any case, I'd ask the ISP, who should know exactly what your
"Frontier/Fios internet service" actually implies. (Rather than some
random clown here, who might not.)

Re: Is the NETGEAR Nighthawk X4S AC3200 C7800 compatible with Frontier/Fios internet service?
Twice I contacted Technical Support at Frontier/Fios. The 1st tech told me that if the Nighthawk had the input coax connector on the rear. That when connected the unit would automatically connect to the Fios system. I was skeptical so I call again. The 2nd time the tech told no and that Fios did not have a listing of recommended substitute cable modems.
I do want to continue to pay their monthly rental fee.

A Cxxxx model does use a co-axial cable connection. Is that what
your (unspecified) current modem+router(?) uses?

Yes, my current Fios cable/router uses the MoCA connection. That is why I am looking at the Nighthawk X4S AC3200 C7800-200NAS

After doing some research, before installing the new Nighthawk unit. I think that the DHCP lease on the WAN connection must be removed on the FIOS router.

"co-axial cable" and "MoCA" are spelled differently for a reason. A
model Cxxxx has no MoCA capability.
At least one of us still has no idea what your (unspecified) current
modem+router(?) is (maker, model number), or to what it's connected.

Where? (Go ahead, say, "The Internet." I dare you.)

To me, that sounds like the least of your worries.
