Is this normal?

Please excuse the newbie question but the R7000 user's guide suggests that the internet led on the front panel has but three possibilities: solid white, which indicates internet connection is ready; solid amber, which indicates an ethernet cable connection to the modem; and off, which indicates no ethernet cable is connected between the router and the modem.

I, OTOH, have a white light but it isn't solid. It flickers very rapidly. As I've only owned the router for a day I don't know if that means anything, perhaps an unstable connection to my ISP? Or is it just a normal indication?

Re: Is this normal?

To make a long story short YES! It just means your device or network is accessing the internet or network is accessing the internet.
