LAN ports not working correctly HELP

Im trying to connect my xbox to my router via LAN cable and it isn't working. The cable works because when I use my modem to connect it it works fine. I don't want to use my modem because my NAT is strict and on my router my NAT is open.

I’m not sure what you mean when you say you don’t want to use your modem? If you aren’t using your modem what is providing your Internet connection?
