LOSING CONNECTION EVERY NIGHT

Every night and sometimes during the day, every device in my house drops out ( WIFI AND ETHERNET) the internet light is still on and white all lights on modem are normal, but the name of my internet isn’t showing up in the connections anymore unless I restart the router. I’m getting a little annoyed because it’s happening every night and it takes 20 minutes just to boot up again. The router is new, I’ve been through 3 of them already with the same issue 🙄 anyone know how to fix this?

Yes my router is up to date with firmware and yes I’ve also tried factory reset.

Define "normal".  My D7000[v1] freezes roughly monthly, and its LED
indicators freeze, too, instead of flashing as usual.  "Lit", "active",
and "normal" are spelled differently for a reason.

   You mean the wireless-network SSID?

But wire-connected devices also lose contact with the outside world?

That wasn't the question.  As always, an actual version number would
be more useful than your opinion of what's "up to date" today.

Have you tried any other firmware version(s)?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Downloads.  (For older versions, under Firmware and Software
Downloads, look for "View Previous Versions".)  Find the kit(s).
Download the kit(s) you want.  Read the "Release Notes" file for
instructions.

_What_, exactly, "takes 20 minutes just to boot up again"?  Nothing
in the D7800 should need more than a few minutes.

If multiple D7800 units with the same firmware all misbehave in the
same way, then I might take that as suggestive, and start looking for
something different to try.  Blame assignment is Job One.  Your
(unspecified) ISP could cause periodic trouble, too.
