Looking for Orbi outdoor satellite power
Hi! Trying to find the watts or amps used by the RBS50Y Orbi outdoor satellite. Anybody know?

Re: Looking for Orbi outdoor satellite power
Its output is a 12v 2.5amp output.
so at max it uses 30 watts. That'd be at max. I doubt it uses that on average.

Re: Looking for Orbi outdoor satellite power
Great! So at 30 watts, it's around .25 amps draw from the outlet. I saw the regular satelite extender listsed at around 34 watts, but didn't know if this was the same.
Thank you.

Re: Looking for Orbi outdoor satellite power
It might be around that roughly at the wall because you're going to have a little loss due to efficiency at the power brick. I was just going with what its output is. So that input of 34watt might be about right. But I doubt it'll use that much. Most power supplies rarely use their peak output.
