MAC address filtering fixed yet?
I am looking into buying a new wifi router for my home network. A requitement of my security system is to allow for whitelisted mac address filtering (only allow specific mac addresses into the network). I read that it was removed back in 2018 because of a bug. Did netgear ever fix this? WPA2 w/ password access is not enough to stop hackers on my system, so please don't tell me it's not necssary. I had people on in less than 60 seconds when that's all I used to set up. Yes, I know someone could in theory somehow discover what my whitelisted macs are and clone them but there is no practical way for someone to discover this info without fist having access to my system - which they can't access without the info.
