MR1100 M1 firmware update 12.06.08.00 killed the battery
My modem displayed 2 messages, one that a firmware update was available and second that battery recharge level was going to be reduced to increase battery life. I had the battery fully charged when I did the firmware download and when it finished, the modem would not power up. When I plugged it in it gave an error code 1 to remove the battery. Now I can only use it plugged into a power point with the battery removed. Someone owes me a new battery.

Might have better luck posting in the mobile forum Netgear's site is not the easiest to get around.
