Model R6080: Can't access router settings

Hello,

I tried to access the router settings through 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 but it doesn't show any page. I also tried www.routerlogin.net and www.routerlogin.com but I get an error message starting with "You may not be connected to your Router’s WiFi network." I tried this connecting to both "NETGEAR91" and "NETGEAR91-5G", none of them worked.

I then tried to access the router with Nighthawk through my Android Smartphone. If I connect with "NETGEAR91-5G" it doesn't locate the router. If I connect with "NETGEAR91" it does locate the router and asks to login. I then log in with "admin" and "password" but it says Login failed. I even reset the router to be sure that the login username/password are indeed the default "admin" and "password". Nothing worked.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

What modem are you connected to? Is it a modem/router combo device?

If so, it can cause a double nat and issues https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Try disconnecting the router from the modem, reboot the router, and then connect a pc/laptop to it. Then open a command prompt and type ipconfig

the default gateway should be your routers address.
