My Google mini will not connect to my NETGEAR AC1000 R6080.
I can't connect my Google Mini speaker to the NETGEAR AC1000 R6080 router. App says I need a remote access account but NETGEAR Genie app says that is not available. Is there any way around this?

What app is saying you need a remote access account?
I've setup several google mini's on several systems and I haven't had issues.
what device are you using for setup?
What modem is the R6080 connected to?

"can't" is not a useful problem description. It does not say what
you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

Not a very detailed description of anything. Maker? Model number?
Is it a simple modem, or a modem+router, or what?
> [...] The Netgear Genie app says [...]
Why do we care? What was the actual message? When you did what?
Forget the app and use a web browser?
> [...] I was able to somewhat connect the Google mini [...]
"somewhat connect"?
> [...] by using my phone and Bluetooth but all options for mini are not
> available. [...]
What's missing? From what? Could you get any more vague?

" connect router"? To what?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for
"Use a Web Browser to Access the Router".
