NH X6 - after firmware update cannot connect to USB

so I downloaded the lasted firmware V1.0.4.68_10.1.7, on my router, now I cannot connect to my USB shared drive...it was mapped to a Y drive and now it says An error occurred which connecting - the network path was not found.  I have no idea how to resetablish the connection...

any points in the right direction would be most helpful

Are you able to see/access the drive from the router's settings? 

The question comes down to if you just need to remap to the y: drive to get it working or if something went wrong on the router side.

The router does not recognize the USB drive, even after a reboot or switching ports...the works just fine from any of my computers

How are you determining this? 

Are you logging into the browser gui to view/see it? 

Did you try factory resetting the router and  reinstalling it?
