NIGHTHAWK R7450
I have the nighthawk r7450. I am not getting the speeds of my internet when I test it to what I am paying for that I should be getting. When I use the nighthawk app to test my speeds I am getting the speeds I should be but when I test the speeds on my pc or my phone app speedtest.net I am not getting them. Its like the router has my speeds capped out at 100mb when it should be 1gig. Any help to get the speeds to my pc what it is showing on the netgear app?

1. the nighthawk app hosts the speedtest on the router. So it'll have the speeds it should be getting (up to a certain point)
2. what computer are you testing on? Does it have gigabit and the capability to max it out? Test it hardwired into the modem.
3. what modem do you have?
4. what speeds are you getting directly off the modem? And directly connected to the router?
5. what firmware is on the router?
