I have a Windows 10 PC with a Night hawk wifi router. The pc is connected to the router via cable, all connections to other devices in my home are wifi. Windows 10 consistently pops up error messages stating I have duplicate ip addresses and device conflicts. I have checked the routers list of ip addresses and there are no duplicates. What do I need to do to elimiate these error messages?

If your Windows system noticed that the IP address which it expected to use was already in use, then it might complain, rather then set its own address to some known-conficting address.

It's a Windows question -- not my specialty. I'd look at the Properties of the Ethernet adapter. There should be innumerable explanations on this new Inter-Web thing. It seems to get mentioned in this Netgear KB article:
For that particular disaster-recovery situation, setting static parameters ("Use the following IP address", [...]) is required. What you want is the clean-up afterward: "Note: Please remember to change your PC back [...]". Assuming that that was your original problem (which is not yet clear, but is still my guess).
