Re: Net gear ACN1200 wifi extender
Which Netgear device do you own?
I can't find anything called ACN1200 in the system.
If you meant AC1200, that is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with an AC tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the model number.
If the device you have is an extender, while many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
WiFi Range Extenders & Nighthawk Mesh - NETGEAR Communities
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Re: Net gear ACN1200 wifi extender
What actual extender is it?
What router are you connecting it to?
What method of setup did you use? WPS push button, the installation assistant, the app?
You have the extender mounted outdoors? What are the exterior walls made of? They usually do a good job of blocking wifi which is why the camera's don't connect well
