Netgear 2600 Dropping Wifi Constantly
Been using the AC2600 for about a month now, and I'm pretty dissapointed. Speeds are fine, but anywhere from 5-10 times a day the router will drop the Wifi connection for 30 seconds > couple minutes. Seems to occur randomly, during either gaming or just general work from home. Both computers are within 10 feet of the router, and have full signal strength until the drop.
Contaced my ISP, and they say the modem is fine.
Firmware is version V1.2.0.76_1.0.1
Pretty close to just trashing the router and buying a different brand. Looking for help.

Re: Netgear 2600 Dropping Wifi Constantly
What modem do you have?
When the signal drops, does it drop for all devices or only one?
Does it drop on both 2.4ghz and 5ghz?
Do wired devices drop?

Re: Netgear 2600 Dropping Wifi Constantly
Modem is Hitron CODA-45
Drops for all devices.
Have a standard business laptop, gaming desktop and an iphone connected via 2.4ghz.
Apple TV is wired directly into the router. It's connection drops as well.
Contacted my ISP again last night, and they did the usual reboot and said that it's my router dropping the connection.

Re: Netgear 2600 Dropping Wifi Constantly
How often is it dropping?
If it drops quite a bit, try hardwiring a pc/laptop directly into the modem and using it for a period to see if it is indeed the modem/line.
this will tell us if its a modem or if the router is the issue.
